Oliver loves sunglasses!

Oliver sure loves his sunglasses.

A few of these were snapshots while Christy was picking out sunglasses at a local store.

Maya's sunglasses that she left behind at our house. They go so well with the pj's!

Monkey see--Monkey do....

They both are silly monkeys! Aunt Christy is so awesome because she let Oliver play with his food. He watched her like a hawk and copied her every move!

If any ever has an opportunity to visit the restaurant BD's Mongolian Grill, I would highly recommend it. It is a create your own stir-fry restaurant where the cook they food at a large central grill. It is not only yummy but entertaining as well! You can make a million and one different concoctions! The possibilities are endless. We actually drove about an hour out of our way just to go here. It was worth every mile! If you look closely, you can see the big grill in the background.

Since we hardly ever get to see Aunt Christy, we have to take as many pictures of her as we can. Look how skinny she is...she had lost a ton of pounds since we last saw her. When are so proud of her...great job!!!

Finally here!

It was such a lovely day when Aunt Christy got here! We had no choice but to spend some time outside enjoying our time together. After parallel parking the mini van perfectly, (I had to add that because when I found our parking spot along the road, Christy slid down in her seat, looked at the floor and mumbled "yeah right" under her breath.) we walked around the inner harbor. We then did a drive through tour of the Cherry Blossom festival and then off to a wonderful dinner. See following post!

YEAH! Aunt Christy is here for a whole week!

Waiting for Aunt Christy to arrive- yes we went to the correct airport this time!

We arrived at the airport super early so we could do some serious plane watching. We managed to find the perfect parking spot which allowed us to see the pilots eyeballs! The wind was blowing so swiftly that the planes were rocking back and forth very vigorously. As we later heard from Aunt Christy, it was one of the rockiest landings she had ever made. To our shock, we actually saw her plane come in for a landing. They were 15 minutes early! I guess that wind helped a lot! Oliver was so amazed by the airplanes. Here is one coming in for a landing.

Alright, where did that plane go? He was so curious where the plane went that he whacked his head on the window. I had no option but to roll it down and he was elated! We were able to watch about 10 planes come in for landing and with every single one of them, he watched until they were out of sight and then turned to wait for the next one to come into view.

Happy little airplane man. Oliver has been signing the word airplane for a very long time so it was fun to watch him enjoy them at such a close range. We have so many super fast airplanes zooming overhead at home all the time that he has learned to cover his ears when he hears an airplane or when prompted by the phrase "ear muffs." It is hilarious!

Aunt Christy's visit

These are random picture that we took during our fun week with Aunt Christy! It doesn't take much to be silly with her.
But I guess this first picture is of Oliver and I being silly...okay, I guess I am the silly one! Aunt Christy was able to witness a pee and poo poo in the big potty! We are so proud of our little guy. He loves to try to go "pee pee potty" and actually does go most of the time. He is mainly interested when he sees someone else use the restroom but sometimes asks to go by himself. We are going to have to do some hard core toilet training these next few weeks. I just can't believe that at 18 months, he is using the big potty! GO OLIVER!!

Ann Taylor Loft fitting room is a perfect spot for a photo op!

Oliver wanted to wear the bunny ears at Pottery Barn while we shopped.

Did someone say ice cream with a spoon? He loves to use a spoon and is getting rather good at it I might add. The only thing that is necessary...a bib!

Well, some of the ice cream doesn't always make it into his mouth. It does fall off the spoon but he hasn't mastered the concept of gravity yet.

What is this poor kid dressed like and why? A golfer wearing pj's with noisy slippers and an AWESOME Hoosier jersey that Aunt Christy brought with him.
